AU SECOURS MA VILLE SE CREVASSE

Yaoundé, belle cité aux sept collines. Les routes offrent depuis quelques mois un spectacle désolant. Des creux ralentissent la circulation. Au vu et au su de tous les décideurs, et rien n’est fait pour prévenir des situations plus graves avec des ruptures complètes. Certains experts disent que le Maire de ville en a fait une exclusivité.

Bien malin qui peut citer un seul quartier ou la chaussée sur deux kilomètres est sans crevasses. Un enseignant de l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Travaux publics à Yaoundé a déclaré : « Nous avons du mal à expliquer aux étudiants, s’il s’agit des nids de poule ou d’éléphants, tant ces ouvertures ne respectent aucune nomenclature du langage technique en matière de construction routière » et il a poursuivi en affirmant que traitées dès la première fissure, ces réfections ne coûteraient pas grand-chose aux Maîtres d’ouvrages.

Pour ces experts des ouvrages routiers : « Personne ne se préoccupe de ces petites réfections parce qu’elles n’incluent pas des appels d’offres et des passations de marchés qui eux drainent de grosses dépenses ». Facile de comprendre que les grandes ouvertures à Emombo, Mélen, Ngousso, Essos, Mvog mbi ou Nsam ne sont pas encore suffisamment importantes pour attirer l’attention. 

Un maire d’arrondissement ; interrogé sur la question a déclaré : « les routes de Yaoundé sont une exclusivité de la grande mairie, personne n’y touche, nous pouvons embellir des carrefours, des ronds-points mais le bitume… » Il faut ainsi en référer à l’hôtel de ville. Au secours, nos routes se détériorent.

Avant la coupe d’Afrique des nations, que le Cameroun a abrité en Janvier dernier, certains de ces points critiques avaient été traités, mais le mal revient. Une unité d’intervention rapide pour une ville comme Yaoundé serait la bienvenue. Il faut pour cela des responsables qui adoptent la maxime connue à savoir : « Mieux vaut prévenir que guérir »
